Loaded Winter Favorites- Female Teas, Oils, & Homemade Skincare

GIRL ALERT: This definitely has some FEMALE favorites! That time of the month all the way, so girls listen up, and guys, get the girls you know to listening up, this post might help her have a happier period week!
Now that we got that out of the way.. On to the favorites, I'm gonna be going over some teas, some oils (carrier and essential oils), and some of my own products that have become my favorites.
(Sorry for the photo being so dark.)
Lets start with teas! These are ALL good for hormonal health, they have seriously changed my period!

Chamomile Lavender- Both Chamomile and Lavender are good to help relieve menstrual cramps, I like to drink this even before my period to keep away those intense cramps we all know and hate.

Yogi Woman's Moon Cycle- This tea supports and overall healthy cycle. It also helps soothe tension and discomfort, and relax your mind and body.

Raspberry Leaf- (please do not confuse this for just raspberry flavored tea, read your ingredients and get pure raspberry LEAF tea) This tea is AMAZING for a happy period! It supports the female system and helps ease discomfort from menstruation and supports the uterus. (The box said it, not me. We are getting very personal here).

Green Tea Kombucha Decaf- This tea is so yummy! It's good for immune and digestive function. It has notes of plum and passion fruit so the taste is a little sweet and fruity, which is lovely. I have been enjoying this tea greatly, one of the best tasting teas I've tried in a while. I often do one bag of this and one of the raspberry leave to kind of take the edge off the raspberry.)

My Skincare:
Rose Face Serum- I made this serum last week and have been loving it! I'm so happy with my skincare right now, it's so simple, nourishing, and 90% of my own homemade products! Not trying to sound vain at all but I have been amazed at these homemade products, the simple ingredients are so pure and great for the skin. This serum is made with Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Rose Absolute, and Lavender Essential Oil. Both Rose and Lavender are moisturizing oils  and are said to help anti-aging and are anti- inflammatory. Because of the carrier oils in this serum it makes it very light and doesn't leave my skin oily or greasy, it's been so dry and cold that some days I have to do 2 layers of this.

Healing Night Cream- Between my Serum and this Night Cream it speeds the healing of my acne so much! I started getting a patch of breakouts and from using these 2 things (with lots of water and healthy eating) it was pretty much gone in 3 days! If you suffer from acne you know how short that is. This has shea butter, coconut oil, almond oil, aloe very gel, vitamin E, beeswax, and essential oils of lavender, rose, and rosemary. This cream has such a smooth feel to it, like a mix between a gel and cream. It might be a little heavy for some people for the day time but I love it for both night and day. It makes my skin so soft and hydrated.

Coffee Lip Balm- Honestly this is the best lip balm I have ever used. It's so creamy and buttery and RICH! It's great for this cold weather, or as a night time lip balm. All of the scents have a slight cocoa scent to them because of the cocoa butter. I forgot this one day when I went to work and my lips missed it after being in the cold. This stuff totally repairs and nourishes my lips.

Oil Favorites:
It feels like I have been making skincare non-stop so here are some oils I've been using and loving-

Sweet Almond and Apricot Kernel Oils- These both are loaded with vitamins and are non-greasy, very light oils. They make a great carrier oil for serums and moisturizers. Sweet Almond oil has vitamins A, B, and C. Apricot has A, C, and E as well as fatty acids in both oils. I used Almond Oil in all of the products above that I made!

Essential Oils:
Coffee- This oil smells just like walking into Starbucks, it's very rich. I use this in some coconut oil to help reduce cellulite on my butt and legs (I'll update you if I notice a difference), but coffee oil is said to help reduce the appearance of cellulite due to the caffeine which helps stimulate the area.

Bergamot- A very relaxing oil that actually promotes a better sleep! It has a musky, lemony scent.

Rosemary- I find this very relaxing as well (as most of these on this list are). This oil is anti-bacterial/ anti-fungal so that makes it great for acne.

Vanilla- Like many people I love the scent of vanilla, it's warm and sweet and just great overall, I like using this in perfumes and body scrubs.

Lavender- Another relaxing oil that is anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. Also very moisturizing. Great for acne prone and dry skin.

Rose- I have been a little obsessed with rose lately. The scent is so sweet and feminine! Rose oil is extremely moisturizing and I also find it very relaxing. It is anti microbial and has antioxidants. Beneficial for those with acne!

So there you have it! Do you have any oils you've been loving? Or teas? Be sure to check out my Etsy shop (Eco Makes Perfect)! Thanks for reading!!
