♡ Tips for a Fun Workout ♡

That word...that word we all HATE.....'workout'.. ugh! It just sounds horrible doesn't it? Well...not to me because I'm a bit of a fitness junkie but I have a few tips I do to make my workout a bit more enjoyable. So for those of you who don't enjoy exercise just keep reading...

NOTE: I'm not a fitness expert by any means, these are just things I have tried that work for me. I think exercise is very important. Plus if you eat the right things and exercise you feel so much better physically. I notice I feel so much healthier and have more energy, and who doesn't want that?

1. Listen to music, either have a CD on or a Ipod. there are even TV channels for music. Music helps me kinda get into the workout zone you could say.
2. Watch TV. It helps the time pass faster. 
3. Have a Wii? Get Wii Fit Plus! It is SO FUN, not only is it a game but it really WORKS! You might not think it would but it does, they have arobics, yoga, balence games and more. I try to play at least 3 times a week.
4. Get outside! If the weather is nice, why not go for a walk? Which leads to my next tip.
5. WALK! Even if you don't like any kind of workout just try to go for a walk everyday if you can! 
6. Cute workout clothes. This isn't necessary but it helps me. If you have something cute to wear to workout in... doesn't that give you a lil motivation to actually work out? Get a cute pair of shorts and a workout bra or tank! :)
7. Get a buddy. If you exercise with a friend it makes it more enjoyable and you get to chat it up with your friend, maybe even have a little competition.

♡ Saturday Goodies! ♡

I wanted to show you the few things I picked up today! :) 

 This morning I went to Rite Aid and got the Revlon colorstay eyeshadow palette in "Addictive", I had a $4.00 coupon from buying 2 Revlon products last time, So it was only $3.86!! It feels so good to save money! Then I went again this evening and got the Scunci wide headbands for $6.80, I bit pricey I think but they were much needed. Then at Foodlion I got the Honeysuckle Honeydew EOS lip balm for $3.00, and a raspberry greek yogurt for around $1.50 I think. I ate half of it tonight and loved it! Great healthy snack. I have also already tried all the beauty products and am very glad I picked them up. <3

Lunch- Rice and Chicken with Tomato

Time for another lunch of the day post! Today I had some herb and butter rice and some 'Naked Nuggets' with some tomato's.

 The rice came from a pack, but for the nuggets I just put them in a pan, cooked them, then added the tomato's, salt, basil, and parsley. It was very good and healthy!

♡ NEW! Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains! ♡

Hey again! I am so excited about this post!! This is my new favorite lip product of the moment! The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains! Crazy long name but a lip stain this good deserves it ;) I would have had this up sooner but I didn't get all these colors at one time. I got all of these from Rite Aid buy one get one half off! They are $9 there (crazy I know), But at Target and Walmart I think they are about $7 or $8 so I'd check there first. The balm on all of these last about 2 or 2 and a half hours on me, the stain staying power veries with the colors.

Just a warning I have every time of swatch picture you could think of. Swatches, Lip swatches, and comparing the colors to some Revlon lip butter colors.

 Crush, Sweetheart, Rendezvous, Honey, Charm

(First- bathroom lighting, fist applied. Middle- natural lighting, first applied. Last- Natural lighting, stain only) Here is Sweetheart. It's a super bright pink! Literally almost neon it's so bright! The first picture is the most  true to color. the stain is pretty much that color just toned down a bit. 

STAYING POWER: I'd say around 8 hours or even 10 if your careful! (Yes that long!) It can kind of wear off unevenly if you're not careful or if you lick your lips alot.

 Here is Honey. (Left- bathroom lighting, first applied) (Right-Natural lighting, just the stain)
I love this color! It's pretty much the color of my lips just a bit brighter! It's a nice neutral, pink, raspberry color! My perfect everyday color! It is a bit brighter in person!  It wears so well throughout the day.
STAYING POWER:The stain lasts about 5 hours but I don't mind re applying this! 

 Crush (First- Bathroom lighting, first applied, Middle- natural light,first applied (truest to color) Last- Bathroom lighting, stain only) Crush is a super dark, berry purple, In the middle picture it makes my lips look very dry and cracked, I PROMISE it's just the lighting!
STAYING POWER: The stain lasts about 6 hours on me. The stain is darker than the last picture is showing, more like the middle one just tuned down a bit. My favorite way to wear this is with a clear lip balm on first so it's not so dark. and just apply it with my fingers. Crush is a little hard to work with, make sure your lips are very smooth. it can be a bit chunky so just blend it out with your fingers, and check up on it throughout the day.

 Rendezvous (Bathroom lighting, natural lighting: first applied. Last picture bathroom lighting just the stain.)
I love this one because it's still fun and bright for summer without being anything too crazy! I like having this on lightly just to have a little coral color on my lips! I love that it lets your natural lip color show through! 
STAYING POWER: Around 6 hours, It fades evenly too!

Charm (Bathroom lighting, natural lighting: first applied. Last picture: bathroom lighting, just the stain.)
This is a great peachy color! It just lightens your lips and again lets your lip color show through and is a gorgeous peachy pink.
STAYING POWER: This doesn't last as long as the others. About 4 hours at the most, But I don't mind re-applying it. It can get kind of chunky where your lips meet but just check up on it.


Now I have some swatches of the Balm Stains and the closest Lip Butters I could find to each color.

Lip butter- Creme Brulee, Balm Stain- Charm. Both nudes but Creme brulee is more caramel, Charm is more peachy.
LB- Pink truffle, Balm Stain- Honey. Both can look natural. Pink truffle is darker and more red, Honey is very natural and has a very slight lavender color to it.
LB- Strawberry shortcake, Balm stain- Sweetheart. The lip butter is a milky pink with a blue undertone. Sweetheart is MUCH brighter and not blue toned or red toned.

LB-Peach Parfait, Balm stain- Rendezvous. Peach parfait isn't a peach at all! It's kind of red-ish coral. Rendezvous is more orange.
LB- Sugarplum, Balm stains- Honey, Crush. (Swatches: Crush, Sugarplum, Honey) Honey is closest to the lip butter but it isn't as similar as it looks.


I think every girl needs at least one of these! They are some of the best lip colors I have ever had! Revlon always has the best lip products! These are great for summer because they last so long, although they are great for any season. There is also some reds and more pinks. I really enjoy these and they don't dry my lips out! <3

Outfit of the day- New shirt from Ross

Here is a outfit I wore the other day. I just got this shirt this past week from Ross for only $9 and I love it!! I was standing in the checkout and thought about putting it back but I am so glad I got it! It's cute, comfortable and great for summer!

Blog Diary-Yard Sale- June 7 2012

Hi lovelies, So the past 2 weeks my family and I have been getting ready for a yard sale (part of the 100 mile yard sale, which was today). I had probably about 3 bog boxes of stuff, I made $26 from it. Could have done better but hey, that's $26 more than I had yesterday! I made about 40 cupcakes last night to sell, and even fixed homemade icing, We sold one.... just one cupcake. The cookies did a little better. I guess because it was so hot people didn't feel like eating or something. 
It was about 104 decrees out there, so there wasn't a ton of people, we were expecting more. We were out there from about 6:15pm until 1:00pm. The first thing I did when we got home was take a cool shower! Yard sales are so much work for not alot of money, but hey, we could have done worse!
