Earth Mineral Cosmetics Review + Swatches

Hello readers! Thank you for stopping by!
Today I want to share with you the natural makeup brand Earth Mineral Cosmetics!
As you might know I have just done 2 Get Ready With Me's using products from this brand.
GRWM 1- Elsa Inspired Look
GRWM 2 Valentines Day Looks

So here are the products I got and my thoughts on them.
First I want to say that Cara (shop owner) is so sweet and the customer service is amazing! I was amazed at the kind service I got and how fast I got my products!

Look how cute this was packaged!!
 Bathroom light.
(Natural light) For shadows I got are Peach, Smokey Eyes, Purple Crystal, and Amethyst.
I love these colors, the purples are so gorgeous! I'm a lover of purples already and these are some of the most beautiful purples I have seen! I really love the sparkle on these shadows, I am a sparkley eyeshadow lover and these are lovely!
I just apply these with my finger and dabbing them on my lids, it works fine for me and I don't have a lot of fall out. Very easy to use!
The lasting power isn't great on my oily eyes but you know how that goes for me. (if you don't know I have the most oily eyes in the world so nothing lasts all day without being crease city up in there). But it doesn't stop me from using them! I'm sure they'd be fine on normal eyes. :P

I also got these tinted lip balms in Golden Pink and Dahlia Rose.
(For the swatch picture its rose, then pink).
I love these things! They are so moisturizing and smooth. I wear golden pink everyday at work, it's so easy to apply and keeps my lips soft and supple even in the cold winter air! I like this more than the Burts Bees tinted lip balms and that's saying a lot!
Overall I am very pleased with the service and the products! If I had to pick 2 favorites it would be Amethyst and Golden Pink lip balm. They are gorgeous!

Be sure to check out Earth Mineral Cosmetics! Thank you all for reading!

Earth Mineral Cosmetics- 2 Valentines Day Looks

Here is another look done with some products I got from Earth Mineral Cosmetics!
It's Valentines Day inspired, and a look done 2 ways. The first is a more natural look and the second is slightly more dramatic.
Here are the 2 main brands I used for this look-
Earth Mineral Cosmetics
Brija

  Look 1- Natural Girly Look.
This is great for an everyday look, or for going out.

 Products Used:
Eyes- Brija Eye Primer
Brija Allure Shadow (lid)
Earth Mineral Cosmetics Peach (mid lid)
The All Natural Face Plum Honey (outer lid)
Pacifica Enlightened Palette- (used dark purple on outer lid to darken it up)
Pysicians Formula Eye Booster liner
ZuZu Lux Black Mascara

Lips-
Eco Makes Perfect Coffee lipbalm
Earth Mineral Cosmetics Tinted lip balm (golden pink)
And I highlighted with the lightest color from this Mineral Fusion trio. (I don't remember the name. I think its glamorous or stunning though)
I love the combo of all of these shadows!

Allure, Peach, Plum Honey, Pacifica Purple, Mineral Fusion highlight. Check out that sheen on Peach in the first picture! :O
You'll see this purple in the second look (Brija Yvonne Lip Jelly). Earth Mineral Cosmetics Golden Pink

 Look 2!
More of a date night look but I still wore this to work so it can be everyday for sure, just a little more colorful.

All I did was add more of the dark purple Pacifica color to my outer corner, another coat of mascara, and added that Brija Lip Jelly to my lips and BOOM, there you have it!
I love these looks so much! I feel like they have a flirty, romantic look to them. Great for Valentines day, a date night, or if you're just feeling girly!
Thanks so much for reading!

Weekly Challenge #1

Hello my dear readers!
I wanted to start weekly challenges for myself instead of making a list of New Years resolutions.
This week my challenge is no soda! Soda is so awful for you, and working at a move theatre I'm around it just about everyday so it makes it hard to resist!
But not impossible so this week and hopefully from now on I'll be having no soda!
Instead I'll be having tea and water! And coffee of course! ;) I make most of my coffee at home though so that's not so bad right?
Whoever wants to do this challenge with me is more than welcome!
Thank you all for reading and I'll talk to you later!

Stay Healthy,
Taylor

Loaded Winter Favorites- Female Teas, Oils, & Homemade Skincare

GIRL ALERT: This definitely has some FEMALE favorites! That time of the month all the way, so girls listen up, and guys, get the girls you know to listening up, this post might help her have a happier period week!
Now that we got that out of the way.. On to the favorites, I'm gonna be going over some teas, some oils (carrier and essential oils), and some of my own products that have become my favorites.
(Sorry for the photo being so dark.)
Lets start with teas! These are ALL good for hormonal health, they have seriously changed my period!

Chamomile Lavender- Both Chamomile and Lavender are good to help relieve menstrual cramps, I like to drink this even before my period to keep away those intense cramps we all know and hate.

Yogi Woman's Moon Cycle- This tea supports and overall healthy cycle. It also helps soothe tension and discomfort, and relax your mind and body.

Raspberry Leaf- (please do not confuse this for just raspberry flavored tea, read your ingredients and get pure raspberry LEAF tea) This tea is AMAZING for a happy period! It supports the female system and helps ease discomfort from menstruation and supports the uterus. (The box said it, not me. We are getting very personal here).

Green Tea Kombucha Decaf- This tea is so yummy! It's good for immune and digestive function. It has notes of plum and passion fruit so the taste is a little sweet and fruity, which is lovely. I have been enjoying this tea greatly, one of the best tasting teas I've tried in a while. I often do one bag of this and one of the raspberry leave to kind of take the edge off the raspberry.)

My Skincare:
Rose Face Serum- I made this serum last week and have been loving it! I'm so happy with my skincare right now, it's so simple, nourishing, and 90% of my own homemade products! Not trying to sound vain at all but I have been amazed at these homemade products, the simple ingredients are so pure and great for the skin. This serum is made with Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Rose Absolute, and Lavender Essential Oil. Both Rose and Lavender are moisturizing oils  and are said to help anti-aging and are anti- inflammatory. Because of the carrier oils in this serum it makes it very light and doesn't leave my skin oily or greasy, it's been so dry and cold that some days I have to do 2 layers of this.

Healing Night Cream- Between my Serum and this Night Cream it speeds the healing of my acne so much! I started getting a patch of breakouts and from using these 2 things (with lots of water and healthy eating) it was pretty much gone in 3 days! If you suffer from acne you know how short that is. This has shea butter, coconut oil, almond oil, aloe very gel, vitamin E, beeswax, and essential oils of lavender, rose, and rosemary. This cream has such a smooth feel to it, like a mix between a gel and cream. It might be a little heavy for some people for the day time but I love it for both night and day. It makes my skin so soft and hydrated.

Coffee Lip Balm- Honestly this is the best lip balm I have ever used. It's so creamy and buttery and RICH! It's great for this cold weather, or as a night time lip balm. All of the scents have a slight cocoa scent to them because of the cocoa butter. I forgot this one day when I went to work and my lips missed it after being in the cold. This stuff totally repairs and nourishes my lips.

Oil Favorites:
It feels like I have been making skincare non-stop so here are some oils I've been using and loving-

Sweet Almond and Apricot Kernel Oils- These both are loaded with vitamins and are non-greasy, very light oils. They make a great carrier oil for serums and moisturizers. Sweet Almond oil has vitamins A, B, and C. Apricot has A, C, and E as well as fatty acids in both oils. I used Almond Oil in all of the products above that I made!

Essential Oils:
Coffee- This oil smells just like walking into Starbucks, it's very rich. I use this in some coconut oil to help reduce cellulite on my butt and legs (I'll update you if I notice a difference), but coffee oil is said to help reduce the appearance of cellulite due to the caffeine which helps stimulate the area.

Bergamot- A very relaxing oil that actually promotes a better sleep! It has a musky, lemony scent.

Rosemary- I find this very relaxing as well (as most of these on this list are). This oil is anti-bacterial/ anti-fungal so that makes it great for acne.

Vanilla- Like many people I love the scent of vanilla, it's warm and sweet and just great overall, I like using this in perfumes and body scrubs.

Lavender- Another relaxing oil that is anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. Also very moisturizing. Great for acne prone and dry skin.

Rose- I have been a little obsessed with rose lately. The scent is so sweet and feminine! Rose oil is extremely moisturizing and I also find it very relaxing. It is anti microbial and has antioxidants. Beneficial for those with acne!

So there you have it! Do you have any oils you've been loving? Or teas? Be sure to check out my Etsy shop (Eco Makes Perfect)! Thanks for reading!!
