♡ January Favorites- Natural ♡

(Deep Steep Body Butter, Andalou Naturals Toning Refresher, Rainwater Botanicals Antioxidant Serum)

Rainwater Botanicals Antioxidant Serum-
I love my face oils an this one is no exception. It smells like sweet blueberries. It's very moisturizing. (Review to come)

Andalou Naturals Blossom + Leaf Toner-
I have actually been using this in place of a cleanser and it works great. Not a fan of the scent though. (Review to come)

Deep Steep Body Butter-
The only thing I don't like about this is that it's too thick for my whole body an takes so long to rub in on my arms or legs. So I only use this on my feet, hands, and elbows most of the time. But it works very well for that. It's very moisturizing, great for winter skin. Not oily or greasy an soaks in very well.

Legend by Marie Lu-
I really enjoyed this book! It got me interested from the first page! I give it 4 and 1/4 stars (out of 5). I'm currently reading the 2nd one to this and loving it as well.

Eating Raw-
I haven't made a post on this yet but I will. I've been enjoying my morning smoothies, and sometimes even a smoothie for dinner. They can actually be pretty filling if you put the right things in them.
I've also been liking eating dates in place of candy or other sugary foods. These actually taste like caramel! It's crazy awesome.

Blogging-
Yes, blogging.
I have always loved it but lately that's all I want to do with my free time! I would love to be a full time blogger/youtuber but right now it won't cut it. I hope it can in the (hopefully near) future. So thank you for viewing this blog, and thank you to my followers...without you guys, I would have no one to write for. If you aren't following my blog I would really appreciate it. And if you like what you read, share on facebook and twitter to help grow this blog. :) <3

Micah-
Of course I ALWAYS love my boyfriend, but I got to see him several times this month, which was great! We went to the movies a few times (which works well since I work there ;)). One of my favorite things to do with him is snuggling on the couch together. Reading, watching movies, it doesn't matter. As long as I've got someone to snuggle with, I'm good. (Part one of our long distance relationship story)
Plus I love seeing him play music. It's great to see him doing that he loves. I actually have a vlog of them playing (vlog here)

#NoBuyJanuary Completed

Well No Buy January is completed! I did good, I didn't buy anything I didn't need. When I do these no buying months it's not a huge thing for me.. I go months with out buying things that aren't needed sometimes anyway. I like to think I keep my stash of products pretty low. I really only like to keep what I use.
I actually tossed some non natural makeup in the trash today since I still haven't gotten around to purchasing some green makeup yet. Now I have no choice but to switch over and just get it over with. I keep myself pretty tight on money so I've been avoiding it haha.. But thanks to all the lovely makeup brands in my Natural Brands to try in 2014 it shouldn't be too bad. I do have a ton of empties from December and January to show you all soon.

How did you do with your no buy January if you did it?

♡ Most Loved This Week- Skincare (Sensitive, Acne) ♡

Hey everyone! I wanted to start sharing with you my top 3 favorites of the week. (It will probably end up being more than 3 in future posts ;))

You know how I am with skincare...Just a little obsessed. ;P
All of these are good for sensitive, dry skin.

♡

 Rainwater Botanicals Antioxidant Serum-
I love RB serums! This is the third I have tried and once again, I was not disappointed. It's moisturizing and smells amazing! (Review to come)

Devita Solar Protective SPF 30 Moisturizer-
I am almost out of this and it's great. I like that it has hyaluronic acid in it, (my skin likes that) and it doesn't leave a write cast. It also has aloe which is good for acne, and sensitive skin. (Review)

Andalou Naturals Blossom + Leaf Toning Refresher-
I just started testing out Andalou Naturals and like most of what I'm using. I can't believe this is half way gone though! I've actually been using this in place of a cleanser this week, (giving my skin a break) and It works very well. It's not drying at all and refreshes my skin. Only down side....the scent! It smells a bit like alcohol an witch hazel (which I don't like) but isn't so bad if you use a cotton round instead of just spraying it. (Review to come)

Those are my most loved products of this week (and last week....and the week before ;))
What have you been loving this week?

♡ Skin Diary- Update, Skin Roller Coaster ♡

Time to rant about my skin. It actually pretty good right now, for me anyway. Of course I still have acne... more than I prefer.
But it's healing more lately.
Just a few days ago I had that "smoothie" from our coffee shop and there was so much sugar that it broke me out that SAME day. Really bad on my neck. Red, itchy and swollen. I was so mad at that smoothie too :P
Now I'm drinking so much water and skin detox tea it's really helping. If I don't touch or pick at it it's even better.
It seems like whenever I have ANY sugar it makes my acne worse... No sugar, less acne. It's just crazy hard to not have any sugar...and annoying, I feel like I never eat. Tips for avoiding sugar?

For me, skincare doesn't help much. The only things that seem to help the most are the Rainwater Botanicals Troubled Skin Serum, Repair Serum, and Pimple Potion. (I'm out of all of those :P) As well as the Blissoma Rice Cleanser.

The more water I have the better, my skin is more even and a lot less red and irritated.

So there's the secrets for me... No sugar, lots of water, and Rainwater Botanicals, and Blissoma cleanser.
I will continue to try different skincare for my acne to heal it but what can ya do? It's like a skin roller coaster for me.
